Shot this early yesterday on my way into Glen Affric.
What a glorious day I had on the hills.

Took my camera to work with me yesterday and had a little walk around Wakefield Cathedral, then when I got home at 9:30pm last night I spent half an hour or so loading them up and adding a few effects. I had to use a high ISO in the Cathedral due to the shots being handheld - and here are a few of my favourites.

Great shots, interesting studies  O0   Botty
What editing software do you use?

You remind me that I do not use the iso setting enough!!

I use Google Picasa as my organizer/editor/uploader etc etc. Normally I load the photos onto the PC, open up Picasa and then crop/adjust the photos if I'm in the mood. Obviously there are lots of applications out there now which do something similar. A lot of the time I simply upload without any editing, but due to the nature of the shots I took yesterday I randomly picked some out and applied the effects. As it was done through Picasa I don't change the originals so they are safe on my PC O0

Well knock me down with a feather, I thought you were using something more powerful. O0

I bought my first digital camera when they were giving free editing software with the camera, got an early edition of Photoshop Elements, but when my computer expired on me last April, the PS software went with it as I managed to loose the licence no. Now I use GIMP free editing software downloaded straight of the internet.

Loads of free tutorials out there, great for editing maps as well as photos.

It's amazing now how much free stuff there is out there that does 75% of what you can do with the likes of Photoshop, but in 10% of the time. That said, if there's an image that I really love then I'll use a RAW copy and use the Canon Software that came with the camera.
