Snapped this shot of Pen-Y-Ghent looming over Horton-In-Ribblesdale as I walked into the village at about 5am a few weeks ago. I was camping nearby to walk the three peaks, and just walking to the start. It turned out to be a beautiful day. I should invest in a better camera. :)

It's not a bad view down the Valley towards Lyn Gwynant from the A498 car park  :)

Having just completed the Pennine Way with my nephew, I now have plenty of pictures to share.
However, the most memorable part of the whole walk, for me, has to be High Cup Nick. This is where we stopped for lunch on one day. What a view.

We did for the first week. But after that it wasn't too bad. Guess it got too hot for them :-)

Cheers Guys. It was one part of the Pennine Way I was really looking forward to, and believe me.... the picture does not do it justice.
I would highly recommend approaching it from the east though. It's quite well hidden until you actually get to it, which makes all the more spectacular.

That's a fantastic shot, and reason number 741 for me to just go and flipping walking the Pennine Way already and stop just planning to.
