Hi guys, I'm new to the forum so hey!

I'm looking for some walk suggestions from all of you. I've signed up to hopefully trek the great wall of China in Oct 2018 (if I can get enough people to donate!) and I'm looking for some walks I can do during my training. The idea is to build up to two 8 hour walks on a Saturday and Sunday and I'm just wondering if you knew of any that are 6+ hours that I can use to work up to it?

I'm based in Manchester, so anywhere around the Cheshire/Lancashire/Yorkshire/Derbyshire areas would be fantastic. I am planning to do a few in the Lakes as well, so if you have any up there that would also be amazing.

Any help you can give would be awesome, also any advice and tips would also be greatly appreciated!  :)

Depends how fast you walk.

A 6 hour walk for me would be 6-8 miles.  A 6 hour walk for someone else could be around 12+ miles.

There's a good selection of walks to choose from in the regions you want in this link:
