Hi, I'm new here. Don't know how to insert images :-[ .


I use Cannon EF 100mm f/2.8L IS USM to shoot insects.  

The lens has a maximum magnification of 1x, the closest focusing distance is 0.3 meters, and is equipped with a ultrasonic motor that can focus quickly and quietly, enabling all-time manual focusing. Heard that the 2ND gen added de-shake feature which could be a saver to my trembling hands when holding the cam.

BUT ::)  in most cases, i only bring along an iPhone without a single lens attached... What a waste of lens after all...

Prefer shooting videos nowadays. But the aspect ratio always troubles me since i cannot crop the video the way i do with my photos.

I use a Nikon 105mm f2.8 for mine, which are mostly for my metal detecting finds, my primary hobby at the moment.
