Malhamdale Meander
« on: 19:39:22, 07/05/07 »
Took part in the Malhamdale Meander this weekend, really enjoyed it, although it was a bit harsh on the feet, given that it was my first good hike in a few years! Really got me back into the spirit of it, and to top it off, I took this photo, which personally I really like, so thought I'd share it.

The waterfall itself a vertical climb of about 30ft, followed by another 100+ft near vertical climb, all without ropes..what a rush! :D

Ace picture, Reetbomofo,

I keep missing the size of it, but the little figures really puts it in perspective .. awesome.  ;)

Looks fantastic, I'll be in that neck of the woods in very early October and Malham is one place we'll be visiting for sure.

And not just because one Mr Bryson used to live there.

These boots were made for walking so that's just what I'll do. After I've re-proofed them of course...
