Lake District Ediths favourite low level walk and done on a mainly bright sunny day. Starting from Great Wood we took the path to Ashness Bridge and Surprise View before continuing alongside Watendlath Beck to Watendlath. After a far too short stop we walked over Puddingstone Bank before descending to the Bowderstone and Druid's Stone. After another break at Grange we returned to the car via Manesty and the watersedge path.
