Nice one. We went last year but did the coach trips to the main places you did and also snowmobiling which was mint
Oh and the northern lights
Would love to see the north of the island in summer

Some cracking photos there, Dave. It's such a stunning place - we went about 10 years ago and like you it was more sight-seeing than hiking but we did take trips out to Gulfoss and some geysers. High on the list to re-visit and properly explore.

We were only there for 5 days but hiring a car meant we could get out to Jokulsarlon and Vatnajokull - they're a fair trek from Reykjavik. Do-able in the summer probably but a car was pretty necessary for winter travel
