Thanks for heads up - I just love maps.

Me too.  I remember when I was a kid I used to draw my own maps on the back of spare wallpaper.  This interest carried on after I left school and became a surveyor.  Although now retired I still like to spend time perusing maps.

Great heads up will most certainly be watching that.  I do love my maps.

How many of us have a Full edition Times Atlas & Atlas of the Oceans next to the bed for a light touch of late night reading?  :)

Or am I alone on that one.  ;D

It looks like this is a repeat of the programme that was on last year.

Just you on that one, the maps next to my bed are OS ones.

I considered putting a rude comment here about your other half saying what you can not find even with a map next to the bed but thought better of it.

Who needs the Times Atlas or any others (I used to have the Readers Digest ones of the World and Britain) taking up space when there are excellent websites such as www.worldatlas.com and www.atlapedia.com

Just isn't the same as a real atlas though is it

Precisely this.  O0

If I'm on my PC I use the OS maps from BingMaps all the time. Copy, paste, print and laminate for planned walks.  Works a treat.  I also have around 100 printed OS maps.  Plus a 8 inch tablet.  But there's something about leafing through the pages in a big old volume, that I just prefer sometimes.  ;)

Suggested modification for the site, dare I say.  In the mean time I need to be sure to click the Modify button and not the Quote button, as I keep doing.  :-[
