A Perfect Day in Buttermere

Buttermere in its autumn colours on a sunny day is just about perfect. Myself and Wayne piled around the head of the Buttermere taking in Haystacks and Fleetwith Pike in absolutely perfect conditions.I am no photographer but have loaded some on to
flickr
and even I say it is well worth having a look at - however with weather and scenery like we had I simply could not go one. One of the things I love at this time of the year in Buttermere is the ever advancing afternoon shadow across the valley - truly spectacular. I would genuinally challenge anyone to come up with a better days walking whether here or abroad.

Nice Photos, we did something similar a couple of weeks ago but I think the autumn colors have got better, now all we need is a great winter.
