Daily exercise around Durham (once again!)
« on: 21:05:14, 11/01/21 »
I guess I know the quiet places to go for daily exercise.

St Margaret's Church in centre of Durham City

Pathway behind church

Leading to another track

After meeting a 'Preacher of God', I kind of lost my train of thought for taking photos... someone who I thought was... umm better keep thoughts to myself!

Back to the 219 steps through woods... actually discovered a few more of the original steps, so maybe 224!

Turned left at the bottom to head along canny muddy pathway!

On the path goes

It's getting worse!

Wee Doggy

Path better this side of road

Some people find owls hiding in tree holes

Maiden Castle 'rickety rackety' Bridge over swollen River Wear

Old Durham Gardens

Old Durham Beck, in flood destroying Bankside

Old original Durham Station Railway Bridge... met an  amazing fit, active and chatty 93 year old lady on top of here!

Alpacas

Whilst standing taking photos of Alpacas, heard a 'clump' at my feet, my friend the sheepdog had dropped her stick for me to throw.... 15 minutes later I escaped!

Feeding the pigs

Sun popped through momentarily

Silverlink Bridge and last of the ice & snow

Looks a lovely country Haven within the city, Dodgylegs  :)
with the trees it will change so much with the seasons.
I think I would need my sticks, with all the gutter during this time of year
Thanks for sharing.
