Maybe that's just the mini though :/


I couldn't justify the price of the other 2 when theyre more than the spot and the spots yearly subscription lol

It’s the Mini I’m getting, I’ll know in a few days if it does or doesn’t but it’s not important for me.
I’ll let you know just to clarify it but I probably won’t receive it until early next week.

You don't need to pair any of the inreach Trackers to a phone they work as a stand alone device. You can write out any message but you have to spell it out letter by letter using the up/down/left/right button. If you just intend using the pre-set messages and the tracker pinging then there's no real need for pairing. If you want to write longer messages or get weather forecasts and maps then having it paired with a phone makes things easier, but it's not essential.

I was told for the live tracking id need to pair it with a phone.


I wasn't sold on the 2 way messaging, prefer the one way, that way people can't message me back and expect me to respond 😂
