Title: First bluebells of the year!
Post by: WhitstableDave on 12:08:07, 20/03/20
I was very surprised to spot my first bluebells of the year this morning. Checking my records... my first sighting last year was on 30th March, and I thought that was early!

Walked past some today between Penzance and Mousehole.  Meant to take a picture on the way back.

Oooh, lovely.  Not spotted bluebells up here yet but I saw my first may blossom yesterday  :)

It's a bit early for may blossom (hawthorn). Blackthorn maybe?

Yes, you are right fernman.  It was blackthorn.  I won't "cast a clout" just yet then  :D
