Hi from Newcastle
« on: 11:19:59, 03/07/19 »
Hi, I am Chris and I live in the North-East of England.

I am keen to learn about wild camping and one of my favourite places to visit is the Lake District and North Yorkshire.

If anyone would be interested in getting together for small adventures then it would be great to meet fellow wild campers for tips/advice.

Welcome from Portsmouth. One way is to keep an eye on the Meet Ups section.

Welcome aboard from Manchester  :)
We have plentiful great memories of pitches in the Lakes and Yorkshire, among others.

My solo wild camp beside Loch Coire an Lochain in the Cairngorms last weekend was my best yet.

Regarding wild camping - allowed pretty much anywhere within reason in Scotland, and on the fells in the Lake District.
