The Bollin Valley Way Part Two
« on: 21:16:31, 19/08/20 »
Part two of the Bollin Valley way is on more local stomping ground for me as this part I have walked around for years. Never done the whole lot, until now and really enjoyed another Saturday in very good warm weather.
Cheers

Very enjoyable read Redyeye,
clear photos and an excellent description of your walk/hike .
Following on from where you left off in Hale where you lived.
a nice walk down memory lane .
The parts you mention around Dunham Massey
And Little Bollington I have done lots of circular walks .
And know the Swan pub the Vine ,and Rope and Anchor all lovely watering holes
It's a lovely area which is nice for us locals who know It .
Also the Bridgewater  canal and the Ship canal and Transpennine trail Where you can mix and match walks .
After  crossing the TPT at Heatley that's as far as I have walked the BVW.
Where you Continued to Warburton and the Ship canal to the finish .
The weather was certainly in your favour .
Thanks again for sharing .
