Garmin charger dock

I have a Garmin montana 600 gps  which includes usb and 3 pin pug to charge the battery via the unit . However I would like to charge a second battery away from the unit  . Can you buy a charger dock for this or do you need to charge battery when installed in unit . Seems a bit strange

The battery does need to be in the unit to charge it. Or you can take it out and use three AA batteries either normal use once types or rechargeables.
