Hi there, Walking Boots,

Nice pictures.  You been to Holy Island? Lindisfarne, you mean? Was you there on holiday, or did you hike around it.  I had a friend who hiked around some of it, and he still raves about it.

Got any more pictures you could post of it?

Thanks  8)

We were on Holy...sorry Lindisfarne just for the day and enjoyed exploring.

Heh heh, sorry about the name Mr. Books  :D

I have a *thing* about Holy Island, probably the way my friend talks about it, he goes all misty-eyed and dreamy  ::)  You read Peter Mortimer's account of his stay there? 100 Days on Holy Island, interesting read.

Nice pic again, thanks .. and welcome to the forum, good to have you  ;)

Thanks for the welcome - I'm pleased to have found this place.

I have a memory of Holy Island from my schooldays - went on a school trip and stayed at the hotel looking over the graveyard...great fun for 10 year olds telling each other ghost stories all night.  ;D
