There's a thread or two on the subject of uploading images.

Use the 'Direct Link' rather than the 'Viewer Link'.
PS - Nice photos of my old stomping ground. Had my Christmas Dinner beside those old quarry buildings once - a tin of M&S hot chicken curry with noodles, washed down with 2 cans of Carlsberg Special Brew!

I don't seem to have "Direct Link" on my ImgBB menu :(

Click the little downwards pointing chevron to the right of where it says "Viewer Link". A list of choices will appear.

This should work. After some trial and error. I used BBCode full linked, from the Embedder Code options in IngBB. ;) .

I’m jealous. That’s one of my favourite spots, and one that I’m going to try and do when restrictions are lifted.
It’s almost the perfect glaciated valley, and feels very removed from civilisation.
It’s a shame it’s a bit inaccessible (or maybe its appeal). The road to the car park is a nightmare.

Appeal, not shame. :)
I lived in Trefriw for 7 years, and would often set off at first light up the steep road to the Cowlyd valley, then sometimes over to Cwm Eigiau. A good test of the morning legs! And a long walk back at the end of the day.

Can’t argue with that - it’s certainly part of the appeal of the Carneddau! I’m half tempted to include a cycle for the last few miles and back.

A good picture uploaded in the end, lovely clarity O0

One of ours too, a superb area. The only shame is the car park, without it the area would be even quieter! :) We always started from Dolgarrog and climbed through the wood near the water pipes, then walked up the valley.

That’s a good way of avoiding the road to the car park! Quite a long walk to the summits of the Carneddau from there though. I did a circuit of Foel Frach, Gwenllian and Foel Fras from the car park, and that was over 10 miles.
