A few spring photos...
« on: 15:02:39, 27/03/21 »
This morning, my wife and I did a local countryside walk in the area around the delightful hamlet of Dargate in The Blean. The route was roughly half woodland paths and half quiet lanes.

It was cold, but mainly sunny and we took a few spring photos along the way...

Here, we've just emerged from some woods and can suddenly see for miles across the countryside to the north. The trees behind us had cast an attractive shadow:

These aren't the first lambs we've come across this year, but they're very newborn and were happy to be photographed:

I was pleased to have been able to correctly identify these flowers growing near a small stream... Cuckoo Flower (also Lady's Smock, Mayflower, etc.). There are also primroses and the early growth of bluebells in the 'stream' photos:

I thought about crossing the stream via the tree trunk, but thought better of it.  :)

Nice photos Dave, lovely vibrant spring greens, and gorgeous blue sky.

Thanks Richard. Spring has arrived incredibly quickly this year, or so it seems.  :)
