New owd walker.
« on: 18:23:29, 04/09/20 »
Hi
This looks like the forum for me as since early retirement at Xmas and covid 19 I've spent a lot more of my time hiking over Rivington Moor with my wife and/or dog.
Also keen on the Lakes, Yorkshire Dales and other parts of Lancashire.
Plus picking up tips on walks, walking gear, kit and health and fitness.
Thanks for having me

Grange over Sands. Good luck with Keswick - we have hesitated to re-book our coronavirus cancelled holiday in Snowdonia; will leave it to the last minute.

Righto cheers, a lovely neck of the woods. We stayed in Allithwaite a few years ago.
I think luck will have a lot to do with it in Keswick as regards getting in pubs and restaurants.
At least the walking is always good.
