Monday night camp on Y Garn

Monday night was spent on the slopes of Y Garn with views down The Nant Ffrancon Pass in one direction, and The Ogwen Valley and Cwm Idwal in the other direction. It was a breezy, (almost dry) night.

A superb pitch too - we know, that must have been just yards away from our pitch years ago, we had the Ogwen valley view from that spot made into a wall-hanging picture.

Lovely. That’s one of my favourite spots. I think you get a better view of the Glyderau and Pen-yr-Ole-wen from Y Garn.
