Good luck with that they will probably just split :-\
Changed two sections as a test and they seem fine.
Shall order some more when I have decided on my 'other project involving CF tubes'.

Just intrigued where the weight saving is with your chairs.  The frame looks the same as mine, canvas a bit different.

The new chairs are smaller than our other chairs, they have shorter legs and a smaller seat size. The material is much lighter too.

We had other chairs that cost £28 but weighed 820g, we've had them a few years. Beefy's chair had broken so we both got new ones. We got them here

There was a deal on if you bought 2

I nearly spat out my coffee when I saw the price!

Nice chairs, though.  :)

It's a nice walk that I've done a few times (usually ending with a pint in Marsden). The last time was last year as a night walk, led by volunteers from Marsden Moor NT, starting at 11pm. We didn't have much moonlight, sadly, but it was a great experience.

Wow! a bit pricey. I suppose in the wild camping season April and Beefy use them 1 or 2 days every week so it is an investment.

I wonder if I'll ever look at the title of this thread and not think it says Brian Clough at first glance.

We use them on day walks too. We reckon we will really struggle with carrying the gear when we do go wild camping after what seems years so any weight saving is welcome and worth the price  :)

;D You have done it now, that is the reservoir's new name  :D

We walked by a pub in Marsden that beefy knew, a micro brewery. We would have went in if it wasn't closed  :)

Lovely pics again April! And this time I do remember some of those bits of the Pennine Way, we must have had good weather that day!  :D  I recall we sat and had our lunch near the bridge down by the stream which is just after you turned off the PW after Blakely Clough. I’ve found the photo that we took after we'd climbed back up the other side. Oh to be there now!

When doing the Pennine Way we had to keep strictly to the PW (according to my other half!)
