Snailsden Edge and Dead Edge End
« on: 15:25:12, 02/04/21 »
A return to action! This was my first Peak District walk since last summers visit by the bearded vulture. It turned into a gloriously sunny day although at 7am, it was still quite chilly up on those moors and I wore my jacket for the first 2 or 3 hours. The route covered Snailsden Edge, Ramsden Clough and Lightens Edge, Dewhill Naze, and Dead Edge End. I had it all done by lunchtimem and actually did a second walk in the afternoon - although I haven't written that one up yet.

Just enjoyed reading your Howden Edge walk as well as this one.

Nice first forays out into the wilds.

Is your mileage correct though?  Only 1 mile for this walk?!

Hope you've recovered from your sunstroke  :)

oops! Slight error with the PHP code I was tinkering with earlier - should be fixed now! (may need a hard refresh in the browser)

Took me a couple of days to recover, all good now though. I just wish my knee didn't keep [censored] up on every long walk. My physio can't see anything wrong with the knee itself - I pass all of his tests with flying colours. I reckon it's a tendon issue myself that gets inflamed after a lot of walking on uneven ground where my leg gets twisted around a bit.
