Howden Edge and Near Cat Clough

The second of two walks I did last Tuesday. I struggle a lot more with this one due to the heat (I was probably bordering on sunstroke by the end), a rapidly diminishing water supply, and a bad knee. This walk started opposite the Dog & Partridge on the A628 and covered South Nab, Lady Cross, Howden Edge, and Near Cat Clough. It was beautiful up on the Derwent Watershed. It's amazing how much more colourful and vivid everything looks under a sunny blue sky.

Nice moorland photos. Some good walking country to the NW of Sheffield, used to travel that way often.
