I have no idea how to do this?
« on: 10:12:05, 23/09/21 »
I chatted to one of my neighbours yesterday and he'd received the following photo as a birthday card from one of his children at University. He was not amused!

For my part I know nothing about how to do this sort of thing, it just reminds me of what a duffer I am when it comes to technology.

Neither of us knew which original painting it was done from? Does anyone know?

There’s an artist called “Cold War Steve” who does collages like this.

It’s based on a photo but it’s possible the composition is parodying a famous painting but I don’t know which if that’s the case. The only bit that appears to be from a painting is Johnson's outfit.

I followed your link GWM.  It came up but my security package (Kaspersky) got upset about whatever came with it and blocked it.

Odd, it's just a PNG image.
Mrs. vg is the arty one and immediately remarked that the style was Hogarth.

Very reminiscent of contemporary illustrations from Charles Dickens books B&W engraving of course. Some clever software if they are morphing them into likenesses. A few hours of work in GIMP might also create such an image from a talented graphic artist, with the appropriate originals at hand.
Nicholas Nickleby seems to ring a bell with that group, but gas fire bit of a time warp. Bit polite for Hogarth ;D

I got the image ok but whatever comes with it in terms of links tripped my heuristic analyser
