Get some way of filtering water for yourself and, if you can stop her drinking straight from the source, for her too.
Thanks I will pick up a filter. It may not work camping with my dog I will see how she reacts but we go for walks all day and she loves it,so hopefully will love the tent.If she doesn’t it is still something I will be wanting to do and I wouldn’t take her on every trip just local ones.

She'll probably think it is great fun.

My dog loved camping and I was happy to put up with the disruption to have him with me.

Welcome to the forum from the southern edge of the Lake District. We are lucky here in that wild camping is traditionally tolerated on the fells - not sure that the farmers or authorities in N.Wales are quite so tolerant, but if you head high and are discreet you are unlikely to have problems.

Water never a problem as my dog (Springer Spaniel) delights in drinking from the muddiest of puddles - never seems to do her any harm. Water filter a good idea though - I use a Sawyer Squeeze filter, which is brilliant, and is compatible with standard 'pop' bottles.

Thanks for the welcome my dog likes drinking out of streams but will filter water just incase.I have seen lots on YouTube of people camping on snowdon and surrounding mountains so think I will be ok.

Portmadog and the Llyn Peninsula is one of my favourite places in North Wales .
Abererch Sands was our Yearly campsite holidays.
And before that I was a resident working  at a well known Holiday Camp at Penychain   Before it became Haven .
Spent a lot of time Getting to Know Pwllheli very well.
And all the Lovely places Such as  Abersoch ,Llanbedrog ,Aberdaron Nefyn and Morfa Nefyn .
All beautiful holiday places .
And Great for Hikeing and Walking The Coastal path.

Welcome from south Manchester  :)
On all our extensive range of backpacks, we never treat water at all and we don't even own a filter. On the few low-level routes where wild water isn't feasible, we design the route so that we can buy it at intervals.
