From Belgium
« on: 19:56:05, 22/12/20 »
Hello, guess where I come from ...?
UK has always been my favourite holiday destination.
Due to the corona-virus ( some of you might already have heard about it ), me and my wife
have done several long-distance walks close to home.
But our goal has always been doing long trails in the UK, such as West Highland Way, Hadrians walk,...
We hope life can become back to normal next summer, without viruses or Brexit troubles.
I registred here because good info can be found here.
I apoligise for my english, as it is not my native language.

Welcome from Portsmouth. You have reminded me that over my hiking years I have met a few people that like coming to the UK to hike, notably three Dutchmen on the West Highland Way, one German lady from Munich I met on the Cumbria Way and one Japanese man I met on Hadrians Wall. I found out from all of them that they had walked more than one long walk in the UK and kept coming back year after year. The German lady, in particular, she told me that she had completed all of our National Trails and that she was doing the Cumbria Way for the second time.

Welcome from Liverpool,  and let's hope we can all travel freely soon.  Personally I have enjoyed all my trips to Belgium, great humour and fantastic beers.  But mayonnaise on chips?

Don't apologise for your English it is exceptionally good.

Thank you all for the kind reactions !
We have indeed the best beers in the world, lucky me  :D
But I don't like sprouts at all >:( , chips yes, with mayonaise of course, what could be an alternative ???
And I very much like the british humour, lots of British series are broadcast here ; Allo allo, cold feet, Mr. Bean,...
