Skipton query
« on: 13:47:53, 19/01/20 »
I'm staying in Skipton in March and was wondering if anyone could suggest walks from the hotel doorstep, low and high level, without the need for transport? Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks, Henry.

One suggestion that you might find useful is to download the 'Wikiloc' app onto your phone, type in Skipton and you will see loads of walks displayed. I use Wikiloc when I'm in an area I don't know and I've time to do a hike. Works for me, I'm sure there are other apps that do the same thing but thats the one I use.

The dales highway runs thru skipton so that should be fairly easy to follow. Follow it upto flasby and then theres another less well marked path back down to skipton, nice circular walk.
"if in doubt, flat out"
