Crummack Dale

Here's my walk from yesterday. Not quite what I had planned -  so sunny &  clear thought I would go up Pen-y-ghent but when I arrived in Horton to find it overflowing with people and bikes, quickly lookwed at the map and came up with a much quieter alternative.

Parked in Austwick then used the old 'lanes' to get up to Moughton, around the dale head and back down Crummack Dalec - nice 8 miles. Super views despite not being as high as I had hoped. And at least I missed all the bikes on the 3 Peaks route!

Lovely photos!
Crummack is a hidden gem, I've spent many days exploring its little nuances.
Did you follow the actual path across the front lawn of the cottages in Wharfe?

No. I came up the lane from Woodend, between the houses at Wharfe then up the back lane. Probably the easiest with Ruby in case she explores any flower beds!
