Cheers Dave, hope it doesn't, that's a tad too warm.
According to the BBC forecast the weather looks a bit "Spine like" next week.I doubt if you will be doing much sunbathing.

But do take advantage if it does give you the opportunity. Watch out for those sheep sneezing, they rarely wash their hands.

Now having pint at yha Rosthwaite.  Conditions pretty awful on top with low cloud, gusting winds and areas of snow. Route finding tricky  :)

That's further than last time though as Day 2 now over  O0

Great news sussamb, I hope you are in Grasmere having a pint by now  :)

I think I am either a day behind where I thought you were or you did Rosthwaite to Patterdale in one day. Or maybe I am just confused  ;D

A well earned pint as Richard says  O0

Latest forecast seems to suggest it'll be more overnight and clear by time I start but we'll see. I've got good waterproofs so not really fussed by rain  O0

No more so than today  :)

Gusty and strong winds plus rain pretty much all day. Thankfully at my back most of the time  O0

Nice moorland walk to Kirkby although quite boggy in places with some farmers fields just a muddy quagmire, glad I had my sticks, in some fields if I'd taken skis I could have skied on the mud  ;D

Lovely day though  O0

There are, or were, 2 outdoor shops in Kirkby Stephen for resupply.  For everything else there is a shop called Mic Macs - if they don't sell it, it probably doesn't exist.
