Cadair Idris - Question about Potential Route

Hi everyone,


I've completed multiple walks to the summit of Cadair Idris / Penygader, usually from the Minffordd path & I have often noticed what looks like a potential, albeit difficult route. I thought I would check here to see if it is in fact a route & if anyone is familiar with it or has used it before.


I noticed what I thought was a very steep path (probably a scramble all the way) that started behind the Llyn Cau lake & goes directly up to the saddle between Penygader & Craig Cwm Amarch.


Any thoughts? I wanted to attach an image to highlight what looks like a path, but I don't seem to be able to do that.

I think I know which path you mean and I have looked at it after seeing a few people go up it. I haven't been to Idris for three years so can't comment on the up to date state of said route but I do remember thinking it looked interesting   If it's the same path it does look quite steep so a good clear dry day would be best I reckon
