Some very impressive mud there Ridge. I thought we had all the best mud in Suffolk but I think you’ve bettered us, though we have been trying to avoid the muddiest bits here. A lot of it is clay soil so you end up taking most of it home with you and boots weighing far more than when you ventured out!

Some nice mud you've got there, Ridge!  Narrow hemmed-in muddy paths should be on the banned list.

I like the photo of the frost on the hedge    :)

On Sunday we floundered for a couple of miles along an old Byway wrecked by off roaders - water filled deep ruts either side right up to the hedge with a centre gulley churned to ice rink slipperyness by motorbikes, flatter areas liquid mud over the original flint surface.

***** horrible but, of course, legal  >:(  No pics I was too busy trying to keep upright.
So many paths yet to walk, so little time left
