Country Walking Magazine
« on: 17:55:52, 21/04/20 »
Not sure whether a magazine can be counted as 'gear', but thought I'd post here since proper gear won't get much of an outing at the moment.

My Dad gets Saga emails and they have an offer for CW mag at £25.99 for 13 issues, which I think is a bargain. It's a one off payment too, rather than reoccurring. There's a few other mags too that might interest people.

Here's a link which I'm hoping is ok to put. Click.

Hope this helps to relieve some boredom for folks.  :)

Thanks for that. At less than £2 an issue I have bought it. I have subscribed in the past but got annoyed at their very tame reviews of equipment. However they have suggested walks which are always welcome.

I think all the mags aren't very honest when it comes to the reviews. Suppose they are good for their walk info, and for discovering new kit etc etc. And yep, £2 an issue isn't much of a hardship. Glad you found some use from my post.  :)
