Conditions around Crianlarich
« on: 16:15:33, 30/09/19 »
Hi folks (especially those around the Trossachs sort of area)

I'm doing two days walking later this week around Crianlarich. Just wondered what conditions are like at present. It has been raining for ever in the English Midlands but have been watching the Weather and it seems Central Scotland has been fairly dry over the last week. The Ben More webcam shows cloud shrouding the top. Will I get some decent views up there?

Many thanks

Richard.

Heavy rain at Blair Atholl on Friday night, I would expect that condition will be wet underfoot.

As to whether you will get a view....

http://www.mwis.org.uk/ is your best bet.

Don't know where you get central Scotland being dry from, it's rained on and off for weeks. The ground is very wet.

About a week of band after band of heavy rain going over my house and the BBC saying 'drier in Scotland'

I'm around 40 miles north of Crianlarich on the A82 and the weather is good. No rain today and tomorrow looks dry and clear although getting colder. Looks like it will be windy later in the week............

Ok, they seemed to work. Please let me know if I have done them in a way only I can see.

Lovely day on Ben More last week. Perfect weather. Mostly blue sky and a modest cold northerly wind.

The pic links work but I have to click each one individually and be taken to the postimg site (where I see them at varying sizes, the middle one is basically a thumbnail).

Use the "Insert Image" tool icon above the reply box to show the pictures inline in the thread here.

Edited to add:- you can edit the original posts to do this.

Thank you VG. Don't really know what I'm doing but they seem to be there.
