Apps
« on: 19:31:44, 18/02/21 »
Just wandering what others have on their phones that they consider essential, I have the following,
British Hills
O S Locate
Mountain Weather Information Service
Meteored Pro
Windy weather.
As you can see I like weather apps, these are the best I've found. Anyone recommend something else they consider essential?.

Haven’t had to use it yet, but it seems to be widely used and accepted.

None are essential to me, but I do have Viewranger, what3words and an app that gives your grid reference. Viewranger as a backup in case I really do get lost, and the other two just in case I need to make my position known to the emergency services.

Primary use of the phone is of course as a phone, secondary as a camera.
