some good prices on flights to Kathmandu just now. I've just booked with Turkish airlines through http://www.skyscanner.net return flights in November for less than 500

I'm thinking about doing this trek...http://www.nepaltravels.com/nepal/trekking/ganeshhimal_gosaikundtrek.htm

I wonder if the current block on Nepalese airlines being allowed to fly to the EU is putting people off in general and fares are dropping as a consequence?

I didn't know that there was a block on Nepalese airlines flying to the EU. Direct long haul flights are usually more expensive anyway, for my trip last year I paid 585 return with Etihad for flights via Abu Dhabi. Sometimes you just find low fares available for a limited period.

Great place to go, though. I did the high passes in the Everest region last November, but would like to go somewhere a bit quieter and less commercialized next time.
