I assumed it was Scotland for no more reason than where Richard lives.
Over hill, over dale. Thorough brush, thorough brier....
I do wander every where

Are you on Hartsop Dodd and is it Loadpot Hill in the distance?   :-\

It looks like Brock Crags just left of centre leading to Rest Dodd with a bit of cloud cover?  :-\

This is a difficult one  :)

Ten out of Ten, April - I knew that you would not let the forum down!  :)

If you look carefully at the photo, you can just see the top of The Nab peeping out below Loadpot Hill.

April has it!

I managed to steal a few hours in the hills on my way back from Lincoln to Orkney last week, pitched my tent at Sykeside then up steep slopes to Caudale Quarry, and on up the ridge to Stony Cove Pike. Decided to beat a retreat as it was misty on top and I didn't fancy blundering around on unknown hills in the murk at 1645 on a March afternoon. Returned north over Hartsop Dodd, down to Hartsop (STEEP), and then back along the western shore of Brotherswater, birds singing in the gathering dusk, the first owl hooting just as I got back to the tent. I certainly earned my pint(s) of Cumberland Ale!

:) I was sure it was Brock Crags but not 100% on where you were, or what the sunlit fell was  :)

It is steep on that route to Hartsop from Hartsop Dodd, up or down.

It certainly is - I was glad that I didn't have my dog with me as she pulls like a train! Even so, I ended up on my backside on some wet grass near the bottom - concentration lapsed as I thought that the worst was over.
