Went on a long walk with a friend a week and a half ago, and got some early morning water shots which weren't that great, however REFLECTING on it, they STILL aren't bad photos  ;D

Dovestones Reservoir. Ashway Stone is a memorial to James Platt, MP for Oldham, who "was killed here by an accidental discharge of his own gun" in 1857  :o

Quality Photograph Gazzer.  Would not be the same on a sunny day.  The dramatic sky silhouettes the cross in a most striking way.  Cracker... O0

Here's a quick one I took on the SW coast path a few days back.

St Georges Island on the foreground with Rame head above, guarding the entrance to Plymouth Sound.  A beautiful clear day as you can see.  The cliffs in the far back ground are some 50km distant.

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the country .... spring has sprung (taken yesterday on my walk):

Very nice Mel, it was starting to look a bit like that here until it snowed  :)

Only managed to get half a day to myself today, so I went for a 6 mile bimble around the Malvern Hills.
The bluebells are excellent.

The sun is always shining.......... it's just that on most days the clouds stop us from seeing it.

Thanks Dovegirl - those bluebells look lovely. Also seen loads today around Essex, but the group I walk with (LDWA) walk so fast, don't much of a chance
to take too many closeup photos  ;)
