Here are a few of my photos from our walk and wild camp with Karl and Big Dave (security) last weekend. Thanks to Karl for planning the route and showing us around the Duddon Valley and the lovely Dunnerdale Fells.

Setting off from Ulpha toward Great Stickle

A lovely tarn on the way to Tarn Hill

Our wild camping spot below Green Crag

A few sunset shots

The quarry ruins beside the Walna Scar Road

Here is a slideshow of all the photos. They are not in chronological order though. I’m not sure why but when I uploaded them to my tablet it mixed them all up!

Lovely photos April.  I especially like the sunset ones.  I always find it's not easy to get a really good sunset picture.

I'm not sure about these photos of the sky on fire above a nuclear power station, looks scarily like the end of the world.

David and I thought that as well Ridge. We had passed a couple of old mine entrances and were wondering if we could get back to  one before the shock wave hit ;D

Thank you for your kind comments everyone  O0  It was a lovely couple of days out with a great camping spot with a sunset and good company. The pollen wasn't invited though, how rude of it to turn up.

Great shots... I find your hikes/wild camping trips inspiring  O0

Your very fortunate to have others to head out with on a regular basis.
