Just close your eyes and neck it is my advice, I'm not much of a drinker at all but Llanwrtyd is a hive of outdoors activities and a great night on New Years Eve so you can't help but get into the party mood  O0

My fave ale walk is to 'train' it out to Marsden in the the Pennines and do a short circuit based on the Pennine Way then do the 'real ale rail trail' back home.

There are real ale pubs on or near every station on the way back, best time for this is back end Nov/Dec its great fun.

Marlow Brewery in an old farm at Marlow Bottom is in a lovely part of the Chilterns for walks. Their Rebellion beer is tops.

As I don't drink and drive ale walks always involve public transport, as I can't abide buses this normally means trains, which of course have toilets on them.

So another of our rail ale walks is round Knaresborough, and I am guessing there must be a good ale walk round settle area but never done it.

When I did JOGLE I went to about 50 pubs with real ale in 60 days. I can recommend it! O0

Just checked my JOGLE diary - I visited 55 real ale pubs in 60 days. Not that I am a drunkard - hic!
