Is that just using the jpeg files from your camera?

Have thought about getting a couple done now and again.  On the rare occasion that i take a photo that i deem worthy of display

Not sure how they would look on canvas though given that they're only from a mid price digi camera.  On my monitor they're notably inferior to pics that i took nearly 10 years ago on my old digital SLR.

Yes Dom just a Jpeg, the better the quality and higher res of the picture the better quality of the finished canvas. If the original picture is low quality or you choose to large a size canvas it will look more like an oil painting than a picture on canvas. Most websites allow you to see the actual size and how it will look before you buy by uploading the picture and sizing.

I always use the max file size/rez on my camera so they should look ok.

Gonna dig a decent one out tonight and try it with that canvas prints website.

I ordered one last night.

Just a 12x8 to test the water

Should be hear next week.  If it looks half decent then it'll give me another excuse to buy that new (better) camera that I've had my eye on for a year lol.

I had some done through Canvas Prints and they're excellent, quite large ones of my trip to Annapurna circuit a couple of years ago

Seems a big difference in the brightness.


I'm guessing that's just because ones a pic and the other a pic of a pic in a darker room?

Ta Dom and yes darkness and I took the pic looking up at it, the actual canvas looks as good as the pic. What view have you gone for?

Couldn't decide which year of photo's to even start looking in so just picked one from the last walk
