Well ive eventually got round to reading your TR mate now i am back home and a decent internet connection. Enjoyed the read and the pictures very much, i have only done the one walk with you Bleaklow in the peaks but your pictures remind me of the type of area and windswept rocks. It looks a great walk Jon and it looks like you had a great day even if you dont look to be enjoying yourself in that last picture with Kinder Scout in the background  ;D

Amazing how many people go out not properly dressed for the conditions  :D  Was sat on Helvellyn last week and two lads appeared, one was clearly frozen solid while his mate played down they were not properly dressed.

Hope you get a new op date soon as well  O0

Cheers Dave, when I first read your post I thought you'd forgot the pig walk in Yorkshire where we met and the Lakes meet where we got drunkish last year after bagging 7 Wainwright's, but then I thought.........April fool?  :D

Then read the post again......in the Peaks ::)

Anyway, thanks mate, glad you enjoyed the blog and thanks for the well wishes  O0
