Well ive eventually got round to reading your TR mate now i am back home and a decent internet connection. Enjoyed the read and the pictures very much, i have only done the one walk with you Bleaklow in the peaks but your pictures remind me of the type of area and windswept rocks. It looks a great walk Jon and it looks like you had a great day even if you dont look to be enjoying yourself in that last picture with Kinder Scout in the background 


Amazing how many people go out not properly dressed for the conditions    Was sat on Helvellyn last week and two lads appeared, one was clearly frozen solid while his mate played down they were not properly dressed.


Hope you get a new op date soon as well

Cheers Dave, when I first read your post I thought you'd forgot the pig walk in Yorkshire where we met and the Lakes meet where we got drunkish last year after bagging 7 Wainwright's, but then I thought.........April fool?
