We had a holiday in Romania many many years ago before we were married, so over 34 years ago! We took our boots and did a bit of walking. We were based in Poiana Brasov and did some great walks in the hills around there. It wasn't that easy to get about the country then and when going through villages and towns on the way from the airport lots of people were still using horse and cart! Think it's changed now though!
