I like flickr, don't think I've tried photo bucket.  Sign up and try it, you'll need a yahoo account.

I've always used photobucket to post photos on the forum.
I've just opened a flickr account and, at the moment, I'm trying to get a handle on the different terminology (Photostream/Camera Roll ?).
I think I've worked out how to post images on the forum now(flickr BBCode = photoshop IMG code), but with flickr I appears that I have to delete part of the code or by default it attaches a link to my flickr account.
Other than that flickr does seem a lot slicker than photobucket, and at 1Tb it gives you a lot more space for your photos.

If I've got it right a photo should appear below without a link.

What's the compression like with these 2?

Facebook is naff (very high).  Do either of these 2 display uploaded pics in as good a quality as their original state?

Still getting to grips with it myself but flickr appears to give a choice as to the compression you want from 75x75 pixels up to original size. The one above is at original size, 2592x1944. (was taken with an old 6M camera some years ago)

I have a flickr account https://www.flickr.com/photos/owenmerricksphotos/ but it's locked me out and now I can't login to add new photo's or link to it etc. No idea what I've done to get locked out.

Yes i have to delete everything before the 1st [IMG] text then eveything after the 2nd [IMG] for it to display the pic as above, if i dont it posts text something like posted by Rhino flickr etc

Does anyone know how to share pics via flicker on Android /mobile? I can't seem to find the bb code in the app or mobile webpage (sorry for going off topic a bit).

Does anyone use Dropbox? If so can you post on here from it?

I have used Dropbox, but I *think* you can just share files via setting file permissions - not sure you can display pictures via a link.

Flickr seems to have it all IMO, but I dislike the social media side of it, but that is easily ignored anyway.

Thanks Forkbeard
Thought that might be the case :(
