Merrell Altalight GoreTex size 12 for 78 on the Merrell website. I can confirm they are good and very comfortable boots after wearing my non GoreTex boots in a mix of conditions for nearly 40 miles. Sorry I'm not allowed to post links yet. It's nearly the first thing that pops up when you Google it.

Good price!

You can always paste a url into your post where it will appear in plain text for people to copy and paste.

Found these quality tents going cheap on the Terra Nova website - good roomy tents for 3 season use.

https://www.terra-nova.co.uk/sale/tent-sale/aspect-1-tent/ ---- 80
https://www.terra-nova.co.uk/sale/tent-sale/aspect-2-tent/ ----119

My daughter bought an Aspect 3 on ebay and is really pleased with it.

Also found the Wild Country Hoolie 2 two man tent going for 99! This is the old model, not the newer 'compact' model, so they are selling them off cheap.

On the subject of tents, this one really caught my eye.

https://crux-outlet.online/product/g1-ionix

It is a discontinued Lightwave 2 man semi geodesic with a large porch. 40d silnylon and DAC poles, should be really tough, and an absolute bargain at 149. If I were in the market for an all weather 2 man tent for wild camping, I would snap one up - but I'm not. I have certainly been impressed by the Lightwave tunnel tent that I bought from this website.

Not sure how often Sports Direct gets mentioned in this thread but on their walking boots section there's some "Must Go" items where I've picked up a pair of Gelert Atlantis boots for 28 plus a fiver delivery on the order.  For what I do, hoping they're a bargain.

Miniatures
Hi
Sorry to take so long to reply.  I've only done about 5 miles so far and I'm quite happy.  Feet very comfy but a bit tiring on the ankles / shins until they break in (I expect).

1 Litre of Nikwax TX10 spray on fluid, for 14.34, which i thought was excellent value.

My lite weight waterproof, is losing a bit of its water repellency, and its been ages since ive bought any of the Nikwax products.

I thought 12-13 for 500ml, was a bit much, but that appears to be the going rate.

Its very easy to go through the 300-500ml bottles extremely quickly, so a Litre for just over 14    is a Result in my opinion.

That is very tempting, kinkyboots - but (sadly) I'm not in the market for some boots tight now.
