Shropshire was a place I knew nothing about and had hardly heard of. A year or two ago, I drove back through it from a holiday in Wales and thought it worth a look. It was! Walked the Long Mynd (I took many of the same photos as the OP), Wenlock Edge and Caer Caradoc, which has a well preserved ancient hill fort. There are also various interesting historic sites to see and Ludlow is nice. Hope to get back and do Stiperstones and more. Definitely an underrated area for walking.
