That was a fantastic read, Dave - a great way to start my morning, that TR and a pot of tea!  O0 


You got some beautiful pictures too, despite the intermittent low cloud. I've never walked around the Upper Eskdale area. It looks well worth a visit, some breathtaking scenery there.

Stunning! We were there a week ago looking at the exact same view. It's mind blowing!

Fourteen miles and 1,800 metres ascent (5,900 feet in proper money). That's a big day, Dave - well done :)

Woop! Great report. I'm in the area myself for a few days this week, and that's made my mind up to explore Eskdale.
