A Camelbak Arete 18 with Antidote bladder from this post -

 O0

I read a review for the Arete 18 on Amazon, that said it came with a previous generation of the Antidote bladder, that doesn't have the Quicklink system.

Maybe that's why they're so cheap.

Be interesting to find out if you get the older bladder or the latest one, and if having a bladder without the Quicklink system bothers you?

I still think it's a bargain though for the price.

EDIT

It does say you get the Quicklink System Antidote bladder in the description.  O0

Dexshell Beanie, given to me as a present. Seems pretty good, windproof and waterproof. Almost no membrane rustle.

This weekend I have not incurred unreasonable costs. I have made shrewd long term investments. That's how I have packaged the purchase of new winter boots (Mammut GTX), Rab Accent 900 sleeping bag, G10 Grivel crampons and a "T" rated ice axe also Grivel.
Have to confess Mrs G has not, as yet, responded.

I must confess to splashing out on yet another rucksack, a second-hand ULA CDT (it's American) very lightweight. Some new socks and some gaiters to fit my trail running shoes.

Montane Prism gloves and what an absolute brilliant choice, very lightweight, very very warm amd very comfortable, looking forward to the weather getting colder so I can really put them to the test.
I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for travel's sake.

Montane Sabretooth jacket - really chuffed with this.  Only used twice in anger so far - a claggy day on Coniston fells and a clear chilly day on Seat Sandal, both with just this and a couple of thin baselayers and felt perfect.  I get very hot and incredibly sweaty  - this jacket seems to be very good at not making me boil over!  Recommended.

At Christmas I added a Paramo Helki to my collection.
I already have a Paramo Cascada which is good for usual walking days. Though wanted a more shorter jacket which I could wear with backpack etc in case I go further up levels.
Quite nice I have to say!
