Trying to work out where you are. Are you at the top of 30 St. Mary Axe, as no one calls it.
Over hill, over dale. Thorough brush, thorough brier....
I do wander every where

No, Ridge.  30 St Mary Axe is the new name for the Gherkin. lol That was nearby.  We are up 20 Fench.urch Street, more commonly know by its nickname as the walkie talkie.   Here is a view of the Gherkin and the frontage of the building we were up.  Indeed a few years ago we were up the Monument and we could see a concrete block  rising to the sky, in fact we coud not make out if it was being built or demolished, that turned out to be 20 Fenchurch St.
The picture is the front face of the walkie talkie (20 fenchurch street)    You can go up to the sky garden for an hour for free.  book on their website bearing in mind to look on a monday morning when they add another weeks calendar.

.Gherkin on the right,  i think that is the cheesegrater in the middle and tower 43 on the left,  we of course know it as the nat west building  indeed i was living in london when that was being built and each time i came back to london arriving at liverpool street I would take a picture.

No lifts up Monument, but there is an interesting small green space somewhere near its base. I was drawn to it after an energetic climb and as I tuned a corner of old ruins I nearly walked in a very attractive and totally nude young lady, sadly I was not quick enough on the draw to be the second photographer capturing her alluring lines.
