1066 country walk
« on: 21:36:00, 16/01/17 »
Sometime in June i'm hoping to do the 1066 country walk. Am i right in saying this would be done over two days?. I would like to camp
around halfway, appears selnac wood campsite or normanhurst campsite would be best to stay at?.This would be my first ldw. 1066 walk is very easy for me to get to
as live near ashford in Kent. Hopefully if all goes well i will maybe go on to do offa's dyke soon and if i won the lottery give up work and do the Appalachian trail!.

Welcome from the Sussex coast   :)

Yes, the walk is doable over two days.   I'm not familiar with the campsites you mention but at roughly halfway along the trail they would be very convenient.

Thanks for the reply. If anyone has done the walk and camped i would be interested in finding the best place to stay.
