Hebden bridge wild camp

I'm about to do a wild camp not to far from me before I hit the mountain area, and wondered if anyone of you had wild camped around here or is it busy and nowhere ideal to do it.

If you follow the small river out of Hebden Bridge heading north you will come to an ideal wild pitch after a few miles. Its a very pleasant place next to waterfalls.

Only problems with Hebden Bridge are the landowners.

The Walshaw Estate owns much of the land past Heptonstall, so there is potential for conflict. If you are discreet i doubt it will be an issue though.

I doubt the National Trust do many after dark patrols  :)

I did once wild camp in that area but haven't got a clue where it actually was. If my memory serves me right I remember leaving the moor, then past a single large house down into a dip with a bridge at the bottom. I arrived late and too tired to care or notice and left early. I wasn't disturbed.

Sounds like Crimshaw Dean (bridge and grassed area just before Haworth Old Road). Lovely place.
